From The Whale Tail to Playa Ventanas and the waterfalls great and small, there is plenty to explore here in the Uvita area and I would love the opportunity to show you some of the amazing natural wonders that are a part of my everyday life here.

We will start the day early and explore some of the fun things to do in the Uvita area. We can hit the tourist spots or
venture off the beaten path for adventure and/or knowledge.

Time will limit what we can fit into the day, but we will do as much as possible. Some things take longer than others and we will account for that in planning.

Welcome to the Uvita Day Adventure Tour with Costa Rica Story! We are so glad you're joining us to explore the natural wonders of Costa Rica. Before we begin, please take a moment to read and understand the following disclaimer.
By participating in this tour, you acknowledge that you are voluntarily engaging in activities within a natural environment. Costa Rica is full of incredible biodiversity and stunning landscapes, but it is important to be aware that the natural world comes with many potential hazards. While we strive to provide a safe and enjoyable experience, Costa Rica Story is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage to person or property that may occur during the tour.
Your safety is our top priority. We believe it is essential that each participant is aware of their own limitations and fitness levels. Our guides are experienced in navigating these environments, and you will never be asked to proceed with any activity that exceeds your comfort level. However, you must make us aware immediately if you are uncomfortable at any time.
It is up to each individual to determine what level of risk they are comfortable assuming. We will customize your itinerary to suit your comfort and fitness levels, from those with limited mobility to rock hopping adventurers.
Please be aware of, and prepared for, potential hazards including, but not limited to:

Slippery Rocks: Trails and riverbeds can be VERY slick, especially after rain. Moss covered rocks can be as slippery as ice.

Rip currents, Waves and Tides: Ocean conditions can change rapidly.

Wildlife and Insects: Encounters with animals and insects are possible. Do not approach or attempt to handle any wildlife.

Plants: Certain plants may cause skin irritation, allergic reactions, or other discomforts if touched.

Falling Rocks or Debris: Be mindful of your surroundings, especially in rocky or mountainous areas.

River Currents: Be cautious of strong currents in rivers and streams.

Sun Exposure and Dehydration: The tropical sun is strong. Please stay hydrated and use sun protection.

Flooding: Weather conditions can change quickly, leading to flash floods.
Regarding your personal belongings, especially those left in vehicles:
It is understood that valuables should never be left in an unattended car. Thieves have increasingly sophisticated ways of gaining access to vehicles, even those that are locked. High-tech means such as signal jammers and relay attack devices can be used to bypass modern security systems. We cannot be held responsible for any theft or damage to personal items left in your vehicle. Please take all valuable items with you on the tour or leave them with Ed in the dry bag we loving refer to as the vault, for safe keeping.
By participating in this tour, you assume all risks associated with exploring the natural environment and agree to release Costa Rica Story, its employees, and its agents from any and all liability for any injuries, damages, or losses.
